Under the patronage of Major General Abdulwahid Salah, Governor of Ibb Governorate, and Mr. Mohammed Darham Al-Ghazali, Director of the Governorate’s Education Office, Bilquis Private School held a ceremony to present 12 cars to 12 of its students who ranked among Yemen’s top achievers in the Basic Education and Secondary Education Certificate examinations for the 2022–2023 academic year (1444 AH). This recognition celebrated their outstanding academic achievements at the national level.

Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony began with recitations from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the national anthem.

In the speech delivered on behalf of the school administration, Mr. Sadiq Al-Sharif warmly welcomed all distinguished guests and congratulated the top-ranking students, wishing them continued excellence and success in their academic journeys.

He emphasized that Bilquis Private School’s commitment to presenting major annual awards to its top-performing students stems from its firm belief in the importance of encouragement, motivation, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among students. These efforts aim to advance the educational process and graduate a generation equipped with knowledge, capable of developing itself, serving its community, and contributing to the progress of its nation.

Mr. Mohammed Lotf Al-Mutawakel, representing the Governorate’s Education Office, also delivered a speech congratulating the school administration and the honored students. He noted that the school’s recurring academic achievements are not accidental but rather the result of tremendous efforts undertaken with sincerity, determination, and a commitment to excellence. He further remarked that, just as Yemen’s heroes have distinguished themselves on the battlefield, its students have distinguished themselves in education, overcoming difficult circumstances.

Judge Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, Deputy Governor, congratulated Bilquis Private School, its top students, and all members of its educational community on this remarkable achievement. He stressed that accomplishing such educational successes despite the difficult circumstances facing the country—and honoring the nation’s top students—demonstrates the ability to achieve goals and overcome challenges.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, each of the honored top-ranking students was presented with a car in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
